Brunei Shell Petroleum Co. Sdn. Bhd. (BSP) is the largest oil and gas producer in Brunei, responsible for over 90% of the country's daily hydrocarbon production. Established in partnership with Shell plc since 1929, BSP focuses on the exploration, development, and production of oil and natural gas from both onshore and offshore fields. The company exports its products to international markets, including Japan, Korea, Indonesia, and Australia.

BSP operates a vast infrastructure with over 200 offshore platforms and more than 5,000 km of pipelines, producing from over 4,500 reservoirs through over 800 wells. The company employs around 4,000 staff and engages over 20,000 contractors, making it a significant employer in Brunei. BSP's product offerings include crude oil, liquefied natural gas (LNG), liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and refined petroleum products. Its operations are essential to Brunei's economy, contributing significantly to national revenue and export earnings.
